Join Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest hotel chain, with a portfolio of 17 hotels and resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, including the iconic US$1.4 Billion Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams Sri Lanka. We are looking for a skilled Chef de Partie (Bakery) to join our Kitchen team and deliver unparalleled guest experiences through high-quality bakery products.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other bakery items to hotel quality standards
- Assist in planning and executing bakery production schedules to meet operational demands
- Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and taste of all bakery items
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness in the bakery section
- Manage stock levels and minimize wastage of bakery ingredients
- Collaborate with the Pastry Chef and kitchen team to develop new bakery items and seasonal specials
- Ensure compliance with HACCP and other food safety regulations
Qualifications & Requirements
- Professional culinary qualification in Baking & Pastry or a related field
- Prior experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a bakery section, preferably in a luxury hotel environment
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality bakery products
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
