We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic candidate for the post of Assistant Engineer for the Cummins Project Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Involved in the planning and scheduling of projects (work schedules, cash flow plans, project budgets, etc.).
- Coordination: Liaising with Workshop Engineers, sub-contractors, clients, and project consultants.
- Technical Support: Designing and performing calculations for required technical support.
- Analysis: Analyzing and understanding technical specifications and the scope of work.
- Estimation: Preparing the BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimations for new projects.
- Quoting: Generating quotes for new projects and seeking management approval.
- Site Management: Attending site meetings, conducting site inspections, and providing technical guidance to the sales team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Electrical Engineering Diploma from a recognized institute (HNDE / NDT / NDES).
- Age: Between 23 – 30 years.
- Field Experience: Experience or training in the Generator field will be a distinct advantage.
- Competencies: Strong interpersonal, project management, and leadership skills.
- IT Literacy: Proficient in basic computer applications.
