Join Densu's friendly and supportive team at Bridgewater Dental for the Basic Dental Laboratory Training program. This is a fully-funded, hands-on training opportunity for school leavers who want to build a career in the dental industry - no prior experience is required, though preferred. Trainees receive full training and support from an experienced, caring team in a modern clinic equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The course fee is totally free.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend and actively participate in the Basic Dental Laboratory Training program under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Learn foundational dental laboratory techniques, including handling dental models, materials and basic laboratory equipment.
- Assist senior dental technicians with routine laboratory tasks as part of on-the-job training.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe workstation in line with laboratory hygiene standards.
- Follow instructions and safety protocols provided by trainers and supervisors.
- Progressively build practical skills throughout the training program, working towards more independent laboratory tasks.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Completed Advanced Level (A/L) education; recent school leavers are encouraged to apply.
- No prior experience in dental laboratory work required - full training will be provided.
- Prior exposure to dental or laboratory work is an added advantage but not mandatory.
- A keen interest in learning dental laboratory techniques and building a career in the dental industry.
- Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Able to commit to the full-time, 6-month training program.
