Ceylon Business Appliances (CBA) is looking for a motivated professional to join our team in Dehiwala as a Senior Executive / Executive - Sales.
You will drive merchant acquisition for our digital payment solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new merchants for digital payment solutions
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through field visits, prospecting, referrals and networking
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective merchants
- Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for machine sales, merchant acquisition and activation
- Coordinate merchant onboarding, documentation and installation with internal teams
- Build relationships with banks, retailers, SMEs, restaurants, supermarkets and other potential merchant segments
- Negotiate commercial terms within approved company guidelines
- Monitor competitor activities and identify new market opportunities
- Follow up with newly acquired merchants to ensure successful activation and initial transaction activity
- Work closely with Operations, Compliance and Farming teams to ensure a smooth merchant experience
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in sales, business development, merchant acquisition or financial services
- Experience in payment solutions, banking, FinTech or merchant acquiring will be an added advantage
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- A target-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and achieve sales objectives
- Willingness to conduct field visits and meet prospective merchants
- We welcome freshers and candidates with short-term sales experience
