We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive, Learning and Development to join Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams, part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest hotel owner with a portfolio of 17 hotels and resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. It is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Design: Design, coordinate, and deliver engaging training programs aligned with business needs.
- Onboarding: Support onboarding and orientation initiatives to ensure seamless employee integration.
- Needs Assessment: Identify learning needs through stakeholder engagement and performance insights.
- Facilitation: Facilitate soft skills, service excellence, and operational training sessions.
- Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Administration: Maintain training records, reports, and learning calendars.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enhance learning initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: A degree or professional qualification in HR, Hospitality and Tourism Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–3 years of experience in Learning & Development, HR, or in an operational department within the Hospitality Industry.
- Communication: Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Passion: A passion for people development and creating engaging learning experiences.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple training programs in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is an added advantage.
