Senior Executive - Shopper Marketing & Category Operations

The role is responsible for driving category growth across General Trade and Modern Trade by translating shopper and category insights into effective commercial strategies, while delivering volume, value and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive annual and monthly volume, value and category targets across assigned categories
- Develop category and shopper strategies based on insights, market trends and competition
- Identify purchase barriers and opportunities to drive category and shopper growth
- Lead Perfect Store and 5P execution across channels
- Drive RGM initiatives, including Price Pack Architecture and effective promotions
- Optimize trade investments and monitor trade spend against plan
- Partner with Marketing, Sales and Customer Marketing on category plans, launches and relaunches
- Lead monthly activity and demand planning to ensure timely execution
- Monitor category performance, identify gaps and drive corrective actions
- Track competitor activities and develop timely counter-actions
- Drive effective execution of shopper communication, POSM and promotions
- Partner with Sales to ensure category priorities are effectively executed at the point of purchase
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Management or a related field
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in Category Management, Customer Marketing, Trade Marketing or Sales
- Strong understanding of FMCG, shopper insights and channel dynamics
- Strong analytical and commercial thinking
- Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and data analysis
