We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Human Resources to join Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams, part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest hotel owner with a portfolio of 17 hotels and resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. It is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.
This role will report to the Vice President, Human Resources - Colombo City Hotels and will support the HR strategic people initiatives across Cinnamon Grand Colombo, Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo, Cinnamon Red Colombo, and Cinnamon Life.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end performance management cycle across the Cinnamon city hotels.
- Drive a high-performance culture aligned with organizational objectives and business strategy.
- Develop, review, and optimize organizational structures to support operational efficiency and business growth.
- Facilitate organization structure drawing, workforce planning, role mapping, and reporting line alignment across departments.
- Partner with business leaders on manpower planning, restructuring initiatives, and organizational design projects.
- Monitor KPIs, performance metrics, and employee development plans to enhance workforce effectiveness.
- Design and execute strategic HR special projects, transformation initiatives, and process improvement programs.
- Analyze HR data and insights to support strategic decision-making and organizational planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of HR initiatives.
- Support succession planning, talent development, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Ensure HR practices align with company policies, governance standards, and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with exposure to performance management, organizational development, and workforce planning.
- Experience in organizational structure development, manpower planning, and organization chart designing is essential.
- Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR reporting systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Visio or similar organization charting tools will be an added advantage.
