Senior Structural Engineer - High-Rise Buildings

• Review structural design calculations, drawings, analysis models and technical specifications for high-rise buildings
• Coordinate with local structural consultants and international peer reviewers to resolve technical comments and design issues
• Track peer-review recommendations from initial review through design revision, approval and implementation at site
• Demonstrate practical capability in structural analysis and design using ETABS (latest available version)
• Conduct site inspections and technical audits to verify compliance with approved structural drawings and specifications
• Identify design and construction discrepancies, coordinate corrective actions and report unresolved critical issues to management
• Maintain a systematic design review register and provide regular progress reports to management

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a recognised university
• Chartered Engineer status (IESL or equivalent) will be an advantage
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience, including substantial experience in high-rise structural design and analysis
• Strong practical knowledge of ETABS and reinforced concrete high-rise structures
• Experience in structural design coordination, independent design checks, international peer reviews and construction-stage technical compliance
• Good knowledge of applicable international design standards and Sri Lankan regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills

• Work on high-rise developments with a CIDA CS2 graded contractor
• Collaboration with international peer reviewers
