Warehouse Operations Supervisor / Warehouse Operations Assistant (Heyraa Construction)

• Efficiently receive, inspect, store and issue materials and supplies
• Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, balances and inventory movements
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery notes and Goods Received Notes (GRNs)
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damaged items and discrepancies
• Conduct regular stock counts and inventory reconciliations
• Ensure proper labelling, storage and preservation of materials
• Prepare stock records, inventory reports and warehouse-related documentation
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse and operations teams to ensure a smooth flow of materials
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and organisation within the warehouse premises
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations and warehouse management procedures
• Assist with overall warehouse operations and administrative tasks as required

• G.C.E. Advanced Level or equivalent qualification
• A certificate or diploma in Warehouse Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field would be an added advantage
• Minimum of 1–4 years of experience in warehousing, inventory control or a similar role
• Knowledge of inventory management and warehousing procedures
• Ability to maintain accurate stock records and documentation
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (knowledge of ERP/SAP would be an added advantage)
• Good organisational, analytical and record-keeping skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English and Sinhala; proficiency in Tamil would be an added advantage
