Qualifications & Requirements
We wish to recruit experienced and competent personnel to our OBM & Marine Engine Spare Parts business. The successful candidate will identify market needs and market products throughout the island.
- Minimum 03 years’ experience in a similar field in a reputed company.
- Intimate knowledge of customer needs and dealer network.
- Product knowledge of OBM & Marine Engine Spare Parts (definite advantage).
- Professional qualification in Sales and Marketing (added qualification).
- Age below 40 years.
- Good communication skills in Sinhala, English and Tamil.
- Computer literacy and good interpersonal skills.
- Exposure to good sales practices.

Douglas & Sons (Pvt) Ltd started its commercial operations as a company importing Auto Parts in July 1986, with their registered office and showroom at No. 221, Panchikawatte Road, Colombo 10, Sri Lanka. In 1988 they diversified operations to import and distribute Tyres, and Batteries too, in addition to Auto Parts. During 1991, they commenced the operation of manufacturing Soft Toys for export as an approved BOI enterprise. Popularly known as DSL among the trade partners and customers, Douglas & Sons (Pvt) Ltd is the founder member company of DSL Group of Companies. DSL moved to their modern corporate office complex at 290/25, Sri Sangaraja Mawatha, Colombo 10 in 2008.
