KIU invites applications from suitably qualified and dynamic individuals for the position of Secretary to the Vice Chancellor (University).
This is an immediate engagement opportunity to work at the heart of the University's leadership, supporting the Vice Chancellor and ensuring the smooth running of university operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the Vice Chancellor's schedule, appointments and meetings
- Prepare official correspondence, reports and documents
- Maintain confidential records and manage communications
- Liaise with internal departments, external stakeholders and foreign partners effectively
- Identify and support new opportunities to strengthen and expand the University's initiatives
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth university operations
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of a Degree in Management, Administration or a related field
- Proven experience as an executive/administrative assistant or secretary
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and office management systems
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
