The Assistant Manager, Mall Management is responsible for supporting the effective day-to-day operations of the mall, ensuring operational efficiency, tenant satisfaction, customer experience and compliance with established standards. The role involves coordinating with tenants and internal departments, overseeing operational activities, supporting mall events and promotional initiatives, and monitoring service standards and operational performance to maintain a safe, welcoming and commercially successful retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily mall operations, ensuring efficiency, service excellence, safety and compliance
- Coordinate with tenants and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and a positive customer experience
- Monitor tenant compliance with lease terms, mall standards and operational guidelines
- Support mall events, promotional campaigns and customer engagement initiatives
- Monitor operational performance, customer feedback and tenant concerns, implementing improvements where needed
- Coordinate maintenance, housekeeping, security, and health and safety activities
- Prepare operational reports, track KPIs and expenses, and support improvements in mall performance
Qualifications & Requirements
- Knowledge of mall management, retail operations, tenant relations and customer experience
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple activities and projects while meeting deadlines
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, reporting and financial management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting systems, with strong organisational skills
- Experience in mall management, retail or hospitality is an advantage
