Be a part of a dynamic team and grow your career with Ceylon Business Appliances (CBA). We are hiring a Packing Supervisor to plan and supervise packing activities, ensuring products are packed accurately, safely and on time for delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement a Packing Plan based on the production schedule, ensuring timely and accurate packing of products while coordinating packing activities with the production team
- Supervise and manage the Packing Checkers, ensuring that tasks are delegated efficiently
- Provide training and guidance to packing staff to improve efficiency, accuracy and safety
- Ensure all packed products are ready for delivery as per the schedule
- Maintain accurate Daily Update Documents, tracking packing progress, materials used and any delays
- Monitor the quality of packed products to ensure they meet company standards and customer requirements
- Identify and recommend improvements in packing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Ensure the availability of necessary packing materials and equipment to meet production demands
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, promptly report hazards and maintain a safe working environment
- Demonstrate professional behaviour, cooperation and respect toward other supervisors and the production team
- Perform any task assigned by your superior in an efficient, timely and professional manner
