Credit Control Officer

• Monitor customer outstanding balances and aging reports
• Follow up with customers on overdue invoices and obtain payment commitments
• Ensure collections are made within agreed credit terms
• Prepare and submit regular collection, aging and outstanding reports
• Coordinate with Finance, Sales, Service, SCT, Workshop and other departments to resolve billing and collection issues
• Follow up on pending invoices, customer approvals, POs, supporting documents and disputed invoices
• Maintain accurate records of customer accounts, payment commitments and collection activities
• Identify high-risk and long-outstanding accounts and escalate them to management
• Monitor customer credit limits and payment behaviour
• Coordinate with Finance for payment identification, allocation and account reconciliation
• Maintain proper documentation of all collection activities and customer communications
• Support management in recovering long-outstanding debts and resolving customer disputes
• Identify opportunities to improve the credit control and collection process
• Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls and approved credit terms
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or a related field
• 1 or 2 years of relevant experience in credit control, accounts receivable or finance
• Strong communication, negotiation, analytical and follow-up skills
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/accounting systems
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and coordinate effectively with internal and external parties
• High level of integrity, accountability and confidentiality
