We have an exciting opportunity for an Architect to join Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams, part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest hotel owner with a portfolio of 17 hotels and resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. It is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design and planning for new developments, renovations, and expansions.
- Develop concepts, layouts, detailed designs, and construction documentation.
- Coordinate with project teams, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure designs comply with building, safety, fire, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Incorporate sustainable and cost-effective design solutions.
- Conduct site visits and provide technical guidance throughout construction.
- Support space planning, interior design coordination, and overall project quality.
- Present designs to stakeholders and guide junior team members.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture; professional registration/membership preferred.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in architecture, preferably in hospitality, commercial, or large-scale projects.
- Proven experience managing projects from concept through construction.
- Strong knowledge of architectural standards, building codes, construction methods, and sustainable design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp/Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D tools.
- Strong project coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality design solutions.
