Lead Strategic People Initiatives Across Cinnamon City Hotels.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Human Resources to join Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams, part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka's largest hotel owner with a portfolio of 17 hotels and resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. It is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.
This role will report to the Vice President, Human Resources – Colombo City Hotels and will support HR strategic people initiatives across Cinnamon Grand Colombo, Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo, Cinnamon Red Colombo and Cinnamon Life.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end performance management cycle across Cinnamon City Hotels
- Drive a high-performance culture aligned with business objectives
- Review and optimise organisational structures to improve efficiency and support growth
- Coordinate organisation charts, workforce planning, role mapping and reporting structures
- Partner with business leaders on manpower planning, restructuring and organisational design
- Monitor KPIs, performance metrics and employee development plans
- Lead strategic HR projects, transformation initiatives and process improvements
- Analyse HR data to support decision-making and organisational planning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement HR initiatives
- Support succession planning, talent development and employee engagement
- Ensure compliance with company policies and HR best practices
Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree or professional qualification in HRM, Business Management or a related field
- 5–7 years of HR experience, preferably in performance management and organisational development
- Experience in organisational structuring, manpower planning and organisation chart development
- Strong analytical, project management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft Visio or similar tools would be an added benefit
