We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Accounts Executive to join our Ready-mix Concrete team in Anuradhapura. The role focuses on general accounting and finance activities, including managing daily accounting operations, ensuring compliance with policies, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and assisting in internal and external audits, while contributing to the overall financial efficiency of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger
- Ensure compliance with all accounting policies, procedures and statutory requirements
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting activities
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives
- Monitor financial transactions, reconciliations and variances to ensure accuracy
- Provide support during internal and external audits
- Continuously improve accounting processes and implement best practices
- Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping for all financial transactions
Qualifications & Requirements
- Partial qualification in CIMA, ICASL, ACCA or any other recognised accounting body
- A minimum of 3 years' work experience in a similar capacity; previous experience in the manufacturing industry is an added advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office packages and working in an ERP system
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
