We're looking for a curious, sharp-eyed Business News Writer to join our team on a part-time basis. You'll cover breaking business news, market developments, and industry trends, turning complex financial and corporate stories into clear, engaging content for our readers.
This role is ideal for someone who is currently pursuing a business degree (or equivalent) or has already completed one, and who wants hands-on writing experience in a fast-paced editorial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and write timely articles on business, finance, markets, and industry news
- Follow company earnings, economic indicators, and market-moving events
- Interview sources and verify facts to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with editors to refine tone, structure, and clarity
- Meet regular publishing deadlines in a part-time capacity
Qualifications & Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field — or have already completed one
- Strong written English with the ability to explain complex topics simply
- A genuine interest in business, markets, and current events
- Prior writing experience, especially with SEO best practices, is an added advantage — but not essential. We're happy to train the right candidate.
