As Assistant Director, Learning & Development, you will drive Learning & Development initiatives, identify training needs, develop employee capabilities, and support leadership and talent development to enhance performance and foster a high-performance learning culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement L&D strategies aligned with business objectives and workforce development needs
- Lead Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and develop annual learning plans covering technical, behavioural, functional and leadership skills
- Drive leadership development, succession planning and talent development initiatives
- Partner with senior management and department heads to address competency gaps and improve performance and service excellence
- Introduce innovative learning methods, including digital learning, coaching, mentoring and structured onboarding
- Establish learning KPIs, evaluate training effectiveness and business impact, and manage the L&D budget
- Ensure learning governance, reporting and compliance while continuously improving practices in line with industry trends
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong knowledge of strategic L&D, organisational development, talent management, leadership development and adult learning principles
- Expertise in TNA, competency mapping, instructional design and learning programme development
- Ability to measure learning effectiveness using KPIs and learning analytics
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, presentation, facilitation and influencing skills
- Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, project management and budgeting skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Hospitality experience is preferred
